How we can help - Work 1 to 2 days per week on site depending on workload and issues arising
- Attend the school outside the agreed hours if priority issues arise
- Make ourselves available to all staff by mobile phone and email during the full working week
- Meet with the principal, senior staff, and senior office person once per week to ensure all important issues are dealt with in a timely manner
- Maintain a diary of all significant tasks completed and issues that arise so as to provide the business manager (upon returning) a document that brings him/her up to speed quickly and efficiently
- Clear voice mail messages and return phone calls as the first task each morning when at the school
- Read and respond to emails (according to priority) as required
- Set up two directories in Outlook – the first for read emails that are low priority and the second for high priority emails
- File all documentation received – in date order within sections of an “action items” folder
- Make no decisions that have any medium to long term impact and leave the school exactly as you left it
